Your vacation can only be perfect when your dog is allowed to come along? Then you’ve come to the right place! We love dogs and are happy that you are bringing your four-legged friend with you. You are welcome to bring your dog with you both in the hotel and in the restaurant. We recommend spending the night with animals in our summer house (adjoining building).

 There, all rooms have been renovated and have parquet floors. The main building is furnished with carpet floors, which is not ideal for dogs. That’s why we recommend spending the night with your dog in the summer house.

The small town of St. Ruprecht an der Raab is located just 25 kilometers north of Graz and yet in the midst of a beautiful natural landscape. Visitors enjoy the lively atmosphere in the town center and beautiful hiking trails starting directly from the main square. The small, fine hotel complex with only 25 rooms was built in a quiet garden location. 

The small meadow in front of the hotel is ideal for your dog. The public park is just about 50 metres away and in 10min you can reach a wonderful forest around the Stefaniequelle (spring). There are countless other walking and hiking trails around the hotel, all of which are well marked – you can get hiking maps at our reception or online:

In the near distance of the hotel you will find a large selection of idyllic excursion destinations where you and your dog are welcome (for example Herberstein zoo, nature park Almenland, Teichal lake, Schöckl cable car etc.)

Make sure to visit the natural paradise Raabklamm with your dog! The small Raabklamm, also called Bärental, can be reached by car in just 10 minutes. Here you can walk with your four-legged friend through a beautiful forest on well-paved paths. You always walk along the Raab and there are some shallow entry points where you and your dog can go into the river. 

Depending on the weather, the river only carries so much water that you can still walk perfectly through the river! The ideal place for your dog to splash around and for you to cool off on hot summer days! Take a picnic-backpack with you and enjoy a snack right on the river bed (to be booked at reception)!
